This song has been covered, edited, remixed since Chic/Sister Sledge released back in 1980.

In 93′ post-punk band. The fall (one of our favourites), released the cover inside of Why Are People Grudgeful? (12″).

The legacy from the disco genre on post punk bands was the funky guitar reefs and grooves and the way they twisted in some rage melodic dance macabre, in this cover we can see how was that influence for such a legendary band.

Bass line intro makes me confusing in guess what could be the main genre of this track, after a while listening it I would say that’s a in crescendo in styles proposal wrapped in a releasing and cutting way for some effects and EQ’s.

A feeling of a groove goes hair-splitting over all the vibe, compressing a cheerful jovial illusion of happiness which fits perfectly into our sensual at once provocative way to understand our DJ sets.

Azari & III – Reckless For Your Love (Tensnake Remix)

Original is a jewel of House, now and forever, “Reckless” deserves to be played from the beginning til’ the end (no sugar added). I remember first time we dropped in a set by Caballo Salvaje, some of the audience was screaming: -don’t stop it please-

After a couple of months since the original release, Permanent Vacation will throw a remix by Tensnake with a C+C Music Factory Gonna Make You Sweat (Everybody Dance Now) sampler imprint just before the last breakdown.

We won’t compare the original with the new remix because the new one has to lose and if is used properly can fit for a different audience.
Tensnake one has more commercial claims while the original is looking for an spot in the history of the house genre.

Definitely … a good excuse to remind one of the best songs of 2009

Was preparing my set for the weekend and wanted to make a bit cosmic first wave, I found a couple of tracks between Rockets & Yello, once i select “Bostich”, -could be a perfect re-edit- I said to myself, before I did a little research to see what I found…
